Tonight, Meghan Reckling, Chair of the Livingston County Republican, issued the following statement regarding the resignation announcement from Commissioner Parker:
“For the past seven years, Commissioner Parker has dedicated his life to serving the residents of Livingston County as a County Commissioner representing the 5th district, and I am grateful for his service to our community. Under his leadership, our county has low unemployment numbers, seen steady growth, remained the lowest taxed county in Michigan, and Livingston County has remained on solid financial footing. I thank him for his years of services to Livingston County and wish him the best of luck on his future endeavors.”
