Chair of the Livingston County Republicans calls on Clerk of Genoa Township to resign

Today, Meghan Reckling, Chair of the Livingston County Republican issued the following statement regarding the recent criminal charges filed against Polly Skolarus, the clerk of Genoa Township:

“The residents of Livingston County should have complete faith and confidence in how their elections are run. That means holding Republicans who administer elections to the same standards that we would hold Democrats. The charges filed by the Livingston County Prosecutor’s office have damaged the public’s trust, and I call on Polly Skolarus to resign her position as Clerk of Genoa Township.”
